Field Service Engineer- Granollers (Barcelona)

If you want to develop your career in an International Leader Company for industrial measurement and control with more than 50 years’ experience and involved in different new technologies as Industry 4.0, Big Data or ADAS driving?  If yes, we are searching for a ‘Service Engineer' responsible to develop and implement service activities such as commissioning, repairs, training and calibration at customer site and/or at laboratory for Kistler products together working as help desk with ticketing system in office to support all our customers. 


Manage, promote and increase service portfolio by managing own resources or external ones, in order to achieve a profitable service sales growth and targets for the company.


You will have the task to increase the Service billing working side to side r with sales team for the entire service portfolio, sales approach as mindset.    
 

Main Tasks: 

  • Performing Service Activities at customer site and/or in the office (commissioning, trainings, maintenances, repairs, calibrations, maintenance)
  • Yearly increase of service turnover, active customers and develop new services to achieve company targets
  • Promote maintenance contracts to all Customers in Spain and Portugal 
  • Be able to prepare an estimate for any service activities, by email or tickets to sales staff in order to release the project 
  • Conducting customer visits regularly & Interpreting   customer requirements based on technical needs with integrity of Kistler products and services
  • Periodical reporting of customer visit and critical service issues to the Head of Service for the West region

 

Requirements

  • University degree preferably in Mechanical, Telecomunications, Electronics or Mechatronics engineering
  • 4 years of minimum experience in PLC programming and maintenance electromechanical or industrial automation systems
  • Availability on weekends and on short notice upon request 
  • Sales approach with all our service product, open mind not only focus on technical things
  • Service and billing mindset oriented 
  • Fluent communication and negotiation skills in Spanish and English
  • Knowledge in sensors, measuring technology and IT is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivated, used to work by targets and good team player
  • Curiosity and capacity of Self-Learning
  • Availability to travel up to 70% of the time
  • B class driving license with a clean record
