Product Owner/ Project Lead (Full-time, unlimited)

The salary in the job add is a minimal guaranteed base salary and can be higher -  depending on the skills, level, education,  professional experience, technological know-how.

Join us as our Product Owner/Project Lead who will act as “primary point of contact” of the SW team to all other stakeholders and would behave as the ambassador of the SW. You will be the carrier of the flag of one of our projects at Kistler– representing it towards all stakeholders and love to shine through the features, quality and value of our product. You will be fully responsible for it and proud of the results from the team.

You should gain and maintain a deep understanding of the applications of the SW and of the market needs in general. You will represent  the business needs in the team and strives to obtain maximum business value for the available development budget and time. 

Main Tasks

  • Create and maintain product backlog for KiStudioLab product in cooperation with Product Managers
  • Participates on project’s program management steering product to its prosperity
  • Leads the project to successful implementation of requested functionality in agreed timeline
  • Represents the project and the team in Kistler management  
  • Conveys the vision and goals at the beginning of every release and sprint
  • Elaborates user stories that are granular enough to be achieved in a single sprint
  • Ensure quality of the released SW product
  • Supports the project in implementing optimal solutions cost/value
  • Synchronizes stakeholders involved in SW product development
  • Prioritizes and sequences the product backlog according to business value or ROI
  • Ensure results, realistic estimations, handle projects escalations within his/her projects sub-group
  • Knowledge exchange of software development best practices and principles. Continuous evaluation of new trends in SW development and integration into products
  • Team leading, ensures performance and productivity, development and engagement of every team member
  • Clearly communicate the vision, needs and decisions of the organization

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Must have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner
  • Experience with leading team or project
  • Software Engineering background
  • Understanding of SW implementation processes
  • Committed to the team and project 
  • Analytical thinker
  • Natural leader


Nice to have:

  • Experience with cloud technologies, devOps, C#
  • JIRA
  • MS Project
  • Experience with personal representation of the project in front of external audience, users, sales
