Job Profile

Purpose of the Position
The DevOps manager acts as the right hand of the Head of Software Quality Assurance and supports the design of theKistler DevOps transformation. He is functionallyleading DevOps engineers, coordinating ongoing activities, and advocating DevOps principles at Kistlers main Software Hub in Slovakia and throughout the whole Kistler group.

Main Tasks
•    Support the design and maintenance of Kistler DevOps transformation strategy and roadmap
•    Design and document infrastructure to be used by software development teams
•    Design and document continuous monitoring concepts and leading its implementation
•    Design and document infrastructure as code concept and consult its implementation
•    Support and contribute to the implementation and maintenance of infrastructure used by software development teams
•    Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of generic build pipeline stages and blocks
•    Coordinate integration of quality and security aspects into build process and pipelines
•    Advocate DevOps practices within Kistler and with its partners
•    Provide guidance and consultancy for SW development teams in DevOps area
•    Perform periodic DevOps adoption audits
•    Coordinate DevOps related activities with internal ICT
•    Implement and configure the tools to collect SW development metrics
•    Continuously evaluate industry standards, tools and best practices in SW Development and DevOps area
•    Participate on hiring new DevOps engineers

What we expect from you

Must have
•    Extensive experience in field of DevOps, SW testing, SW development
•    Experience with Git
•    Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
•    Scripting in Python and Bash

Nice to have
•    Experience with Ansible, Terraform
•    Experience with Kubernetes
