At Kistler, we're seeking a talented and driven backend developer to join our team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our industrial IoT software, akvisIO. Main tasks

  • Develop & deliver akvisIO, our industrial IoT software to collect & process data at the edge of production lines for injection molding machines and high-end measurement devices
  • Evaluate, review and discuss system requirements with the Product Owner
  • Drive and elaborate the appropriate software architecture based on the requirements
  • Design, implement and document the architecture and software components
  • Analyze technical risks and address problems in order to meet system requirements
  • Evaluate, analyse, select tools and technologies to be used in the software
  • Support the Team with debugging, bug fixing, writing unit tests, running code reviews and continuously improving our software development skills

What we expect from you

Must have

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • 4+ years of experience as a software developer with C#/.NET, preferably .NET Core 6+, Asp.Net Core, Entity Framework Core
  • Experience with database systems, knowledge of PostgreSQL is a plus
  • Experience with microservices and messaging architecture, knowledge of Nats.IO is a plus
  • Experience with Git versioning system
  • Knowledge of Software modeling tools and technologies and architecture models (UML)
  • Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
  • Affinity to work in an international environment

Nice to have

  • Experience with developing industrial IoT systems and experience with OPC UA
  • Experience with docker
  • Experience with UI development (JavaScript, ReactJS) and full stack developer mindset
