Job Profile

Information about the position
KiBox2 is a product with broad spectrum of usecases, ranging from automotive domain electric motors, hybrid topologies and combustion engines, through fiber technologies measuring temperature, strain measurements to generic measurement application without specific determined use. The application is WPF written on .NET6 and is responsible for device configuration, live data visualization, data processing (real-time calculations and data recording) to review of captured data. You as a student developer would actively contribute to the codebase, writing new features, resolving defects and writing system tests (in .NET)


Purpose of the Position

Development of Cockpit application on KiBox2 project. 


Main tasks: 
•    Development of Cockpit software component functionalities in compliance with the KiBox2 project scope and priorities
•    Development of any supporting tools on client side required by KiBox2 project scope
•    Detailed software design of software components
•    Producing software design documentation compliant with Kistler quality standards
•    Writing unit/integration tests for developed components and proactive monitoring of test coverage gaps
•    Applying Kistler methodology for professional software development
•    Complying with KiBox2 project software development procedures
•    Writing system tests

We expect from you

Must have: 
•    Experience with SW programming (C#, C++, Java, Python or similar)  or demonstratable algorithmic thinking and problem solving
•    Ability and willingness to learn and adapt to complex development environment
•    Affinity to work in an international environment

Nice to have: 
•    Application of OO methods and use of OO modelling tools
•    Architecture and design creation as well as in the utilization of design patterns
•    Analytical and systematic working style
•    Experience with development under Linux & Windows environment
