Job Profile

Purpose of the position 

• Test developer, which will act as part of SW Development team responsible for testing and quality assurance of cloud software solution which provides a platform for Kistler Business Units and customers to innovate digital cloud services.

Main Tasks 

• Cooperation with Product team and Development team to ensure quality of developed solution
• Active participation on software development to ensure testability of requirements, usability of user interface design, more accurate effort estimations, etc.
• Coverage of both functional and non-functional requirements
• Design, Implementation and Maintenance of test scenarios, cases, suites and test documentation
• Understanding the non-functional requirements
• Designing and implementing the test scripts - python based tool Locust.io
• Ensuring traceability between business requirements and test coverage
• Manual testing + Implementation of test automation
• Development and Maintenance of test environment and additional test-ware
• Reporting and managing defects
• Support of business/development team with defect reproduction and retesting of fixes
• Creating test reports and analysis
• Deploying and performing tests on staging and production environment

What we expect from you

Must have:

• Experience with SW development or testing
• Knowledge of SW testing methodologies, processes and strategies
• Experience with UI testing and methodology for UI test automation
• Experience with test automation processes and tools (mainly Selenium and robot Framework)
• Experience with object oriented programming/scripting language (e.g.: Python, Bash ...)
• Experience with source management tools (Git)
• Analytical and methodical approach to problem solving
• English language (both written and spoken)

Nice to have:

• Experience with agile development process
• ISTQB certification
• Kubernetes or Docker experience
• Familiarity with *nix operating systems
• Experience/Knowledge of signal processing and/or digital/analog circuit technology
• Experience with SAFe framework
