Job Profile

Purpose of the position 

  • Test developer, which will act as part of SW Testing team responsible for testing and quality assurance of software solution including desktop application for control and monitoring of embedded hardware from Test and Measurement domain.

Main Tasks 

  • Cooperation with Product team and Development team to ensure quality of developed solution
  • Active participation in development process from review of requirements for testability to refinement of user stories
  • Design, Implementation and Maintenance of test scenarios, cases, suites and documentation
  • Coverage of both functional and non-functional requirements
  • Ensuring traceability between business requirements and test coverage
  • Manual testing + Implementation of test automation
  • Development and Maintenance of test environment and additional test-ware
  • Reporting and managing defects
  • Support of business/development team with defect reproduction and retesting of fixes
  • Creating test reports and analysis

What we expect from you

Must have 

  • Experience with SW development or testing
  • Knowledge of SW testing methodologies, processes and strategies
  • Experience with object oriented programming/scripting language (e.g.: Java, C++, C#, Python, ...)
  • Experience with test automation processes and tools
  • Experience with source management tools (Git)
  • Analytical and methodical approach to problem solving
  • English language (both written and spoken)

Nice to have 

  • Experience with agile development process
  • Experience with C# language
  • Experience with UI testing and methodology for UI test automation
  • ISTQB certification
  • Familiarity with *nix operating systems
  • Experience/Knowledge of signal processing and/or digital/analog circuit technology
