UX/UI Designer - Student

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: from €6,50 gross

Kistler is offfering a unique opportunity for a student to begin the career as UX Designer.

As a member of User Experience team you will work closely together with UX Project Lead and other stakeholders from technology and business to define conceptual, user friendly and visually compelling designs for Windows platform software and be involved in company design system for various internal web and desktop applications. You will research, sketch, prototype, draw, test and evaluate.

Based on your skills, interests and projects, you will

  • Design user journeys across application
  • Explain and advocate usability ideas and solutions through sketches, wireframes
  • Design visual appearance of elements and user interfaces
  • Collaborate with colleagues on creation of visual design guidelines
  • Conduct Usability testing

Personal requirements and skills

  • You are a student of 1st year of your Master studies (fulltime)
  • You have interest in Interaction Design
  • Creativity, analytical and technical thinking are your strengths
  • You have visual feeling and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage your time and tasks is a must 
  • You are independent and self-sufficient
  • Good communication skills is a natural for you 
  • You are initiative and eager to learn

Nice to have

  • Notion of User-Centered Design
  • Experience with tools like Sketch, Figma, Axure, Balsamiq
  • Knowledge of Design Thinking, Gestalt principles

Education Specialization
Institute of Design, Department of Visual Communication, Department of Fine Art Education, Computer Engineering or similar
