Field Service Technician

Kistler Nordic is looking for a technician for service and calibration of High-end equipment.

We expect that you live in Denmark or Sweden within a radius of 1½ hour from Køge.

You will mainly be “On the Road”,but do expect to spend a number of days at our workshop in Herfølge (Køge).

Main tasks

  • Service, support, repairs & calibrations at customer sites in the Nordic region
  • Service, support, repairs & calibrations at Kistler office in Denmark & Sweden
  • Back-up for our internal calibration specialist in Herfølge
  • Support to the sales team regarding service products such as engineering and development, calibration and testing, quality issues, warranty, and repair cases
  • Support sales team by signing of service contracts
  • Serve customers in a responsible and professional manner
  • Update and manage service ticket system

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that customers of Kistler Nordic get a good and proper support, either from you or from the Kistler network
  • General back-up and support to the managers and sales team at Kistler Nordic

 

Employee requirements

  • Technical skills in both mechanics, electrics, and electronics
  • Quality orientation
  • Preferable worked as a service technician for at least 3 years
  • Strong technical knowledge in one or more areas relating to sensors, measuring instruments and/or control systems with field application background
  • Computer skills to operate and install personal computers
  • Sufficient communication abilities in Danish or Swedish language to solve technical issues with customers
  • Self-motivated and disciplined personality who can also cooperate with the other members of the Kistler team
  • Language skills: Danish or Swedish in verbal and written competence. English in verbal and written competence, good allround understanding of the Scandinavian languages as a whole
  • Willing to travel, mainly within the Nordic area but also in other European countries
  • Familiar in markets relating to infrastructure, academic research and/or production automation will be of added advantage
