Sales Engineer Plastic Injection Monitoring

Kistler is seeking one sales engineer for developing its Industrial Process Control in Plastics Injection activities in France.

Kistler operates as global partner, providing worldwide industries and research with advanced technologies for dynamic measurements. Our division Industrial Process Control offers solutions for monitoring production using plastics injection processes in many industries like medical, automotive, electronic, connectivity. Thanks to our cavity pressure measurement technologies and systems our customers secure their time to market at each step of their projects, monitor their production and at the end reach 100% quality products.

Our Sales Engineers visit customers and industries, identify opportunities and projects for monitoring plastics injection productions. They promote and define solutions and systems fulfilling applications requirements. Thanks to their technical background they play a proactive role in developing sales turnover and sustainable relationship with customers.

You are passionate by technologies in plastics industry and you hold a technical background in injection processes, machinery, instrumentation, production methods. You like team working, understand business and will know how to reach sales targets and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and lead any activities for developing business, increasing sales turnover of personal customers portfolio, expanding number of customers, introducing new products, in compliance with personal targets which will be assigned to
  • Identify customers’ needs and projects, identify opportunities in the market.
  • Prepare and negotiate both technical and commercial offers
  • Obtain orders and gain customers confidence for long term loyalty especially at large groups companies
  • Actively work with the back office team and Tech Office to ensure efficient sales process, in pre-sales and aftersales

Requirements:

  • Engineer or Master’s degree in a technical area (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics) (France Bac+5). Familiar with plastics injection technologies, processes and methods.
  • Significant working experience is an advantage (e.g.: as engineer, project engineer or sales engineer for mold makers, plastics injectors, injection machine)
  • Excellent communicational skills mastering the languages: English (compulsory) and Local languages (verbal and written)
  • Networking ability for building relationship with the customers production departments, management, purchasers as well as Sales and R&D teams
  • Accurate, reliable, effective personality Requests frequent traveling in France and occasionally in EuropePosition is to fulfil urgently.
  • Company car, all IT and communication equipment
  • At home office, Job location would be situated in a region with easy roads connection to major French plastics industries areas (Paris, Lyon…). Company head quarter’s office is in Les Ulis (91).
