In production and logistics, we work day after day with a trained eye, a lot of patience and the highest precision to manufacture our high-quality sensors and the small parts they require. Each sensor is developed by our own engineers and manufactured in one of Kistler's production centers.

Main Tasks

Main Tasks vary depending on the needs of the assigned department. Kistler develops tailored training programs to ensure Production Technicians have the competencies required to complete specific tasks.

  • Assemble and test products according to product documentation (assembly instructions, test procedures, engineering drawings, etc.)
  • Perform assembly operations such as soldering, mechanical fastening, and/or adhesive bonding under a microscope using small tools (tweezers, soldering irons, etc.)
  • Ensure product quality by performing visual inspections, functional tests, and/or calibrations
  • Basic operation of equipment necessary to assemble, test, and/or calibrate transducers (welders, bead blasters, shakers, oscilloscopes, etc.)

 

Requirements 

  • Ability to organize daily work activities according to supervisor instruction
  • Work independently or in a team environment
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
  • See through and work at a binocular microscope for extended periods
     

Professional competencies according to job profile

High School diploma, GED, or equivalent is required
